Hello I want to file a complaint against the Ebay agents who end the conversation without answering my questions, and this has happened several times. I looked for a phone number but couldn't find one for Canada (Quebec). I was charged for listings I posted, and it was supposed to be free (Promotion)

Unfair dispute – Local pickup clearly stated, buyer requested delivery
Hello, I’m looking for clarification on a situation that I find very unfair. I listed a camera for sale with the conditions clearly stated in the listing: local pickup only, no shipping offered. After the purchase, the buyer requested delivery, even though this was not an option offered or agreed to. Because the buyer did not respect the pickup-only condition, the item was never handed over. Despite this, a claim was opened, eBay refunded the buyer, and I am now being charged a negative balance of $86.16, even though: the listing conditions were clear, the buyer tried to change the terms after the purchase, and the item was never exchanged. I acted in good faith and did not violate any rules, yet I am being held responsible as if I had promised or completed a delivery, which is not the case. Is it normal, under eBay policies, for a seller to be penalized when a buyer refuses the clearly stated local pickup terms and still opens a claim? Have other sellers experienced similar situations, and is there any real recourse in cases like this? Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Hello, I’m trying to understand a situation that I find completely unfair. I listed a camera for sale with conditions clearly stated in the listing: pickup only, no delivery offered. After the purchase, the buyer demanded delivery, despite the fact that it was not an option offered or accepted. The item was therefore never handed over, since the listing conditions were not respected by the buyer. Despite this, a claim was opened, eBay refunded the buyer, and I’m now being charged a negative balance of $86.16, even though: the conditions were clear, the buyer wanted to change those conditions after the fact, and no exchange of goods took place. I’m acting in good faith, I didn’t break any rules, and yet I find myself responsible for a refund as if I had promised or made a delivery, which is not the case. Is it normal, according to eBay rules, for a seller to be penalized when a buyer refuses the pickup-only conditions stated in the listing and still opens a claim? Have other sellers experienced a similar situation, and is there actually any recourse in this kind of case? Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Payment of customs fees: seller in Canada, buyer in the US
Hi! I just started selling on eBay again (first time since a couple years), I'm in Canada and I'm now facing the issue of the end of the de minimis exemption, which I unfortunately hadn't heard about... I just sold my first item (an Acura car advertisement worth $18 CAD) to a buyer in the US. When I arrived at the Canada Post office to ship my item, they explained that I have to prepay the customs fees via a third-party application (Zonos Prepay)...why didn't eBay inform me beforehand? I downloaded the application, filled out the form, and apparently the customs fees are $0. The application generated the 13-character customs code allowing Canada Post to ship the item and US Customs to process it (?), so the item was shipped to my buyer. My questions are: 1) Is it normal for the customs fees to be $0? I thought all items crossing the border were now subject to customs fees? If so, what are the exact conditions? 2) Why am I having to pay customs clearance fees when they are usually the buyer's responsibility? I understand that eBay itself charges customs clearance fees when the order is placed? Did my buyer pay any fees at the time of ordering? 3) Is there a risk that my buyer will end up having to pay additional fees upon receiving their item, that they will refuse to pay these unexpected fees, and that the item will not be delivered? 4) On that note, I just saw online that sellers are advised to clearly state in their listings that customs fees may be charged to American buyers. Isn't that obvious? I'm looking at listings from several Canadian sellers on eBay for similar items, and none of them mention this. 5) I saw that eBay recently started offering an eBay International Shipping service, but I can't seem to access it when creating a listing. How can I offer this shipping service to my potential customers? Is it worthwhile? I know that when you start selling on eBay it's quite difficult; there's this ridiculous SEO and algorithm issue that prevents my listings from being shown to potential buyers, so obviously I want my current buyer's buying experience to be as positive as possible to get a perfect feedback. I spend a lot of time making the clearest and most well-structured listings possible, but so far it's barely worked. The increasingly exorbitant shipping costs certainly don't help either, and now they've added this issue of customs fees that I have to pay. I'm starting to get discouraged...

Tax return in Quebec
Hello, my question is for sellers in Quebec who are registered for GST and QST. When you file your tax return with Revenu Québec and Revenu Canada, do you enter $0 for taxes collected since those taxes are collected by eBay Canada and not by the seller? And secondly, do you still claim your input tax credits when filing your return? I’m thinking they’ll find it suspicious that I sell for amount X without collecting taxes and, on the other hand, I claim the taxes. I hope I’m clear in my questions, and thanks for your answers!
