Can a seller refuse a return at their own expense?

Hey, I have a good question: is a refused parcel return legitimate if the buyer forgot to pay for the return shipping?
Because, after a purchase paid for by this buyer, he changed his mind and sent the parcel back at my expense, even though, in my return policy,
I had clearly specified that the buyer would have to cover the costs if he returned the item for a PayPal refund request in the event of dissatisfaction or for any reason whatsoever.
What surprised me was that the buyer replied that he had bought this item and that, in the end, it wasn't the item he was looking for. Maybe that's a good reason, you might say, but my description was very clear, namely that the item in question
was an unpainted and unassembled scale model and was shown in my listing photos.
Anyway, I can't wait to see if PayPal will side with this buyer again when he opens his claim; I'm waiting to see PayPal's
decision before refunding this buyer, because in my opinion, I shouldn't have to pay for his return on top of the refund he's definitely going to ask me for!
I'm gonna have a red one, I swear...

·3 years agoA seller who says "return refused" but whose item is proven defective, do they then have the obligation to accept the return and refund the buyer?
