Difficulty reaching eBay to get information.
Summary: A participant expressed difficulty getting in touch with eBay to get information, with no reply or solution shared in the discussion thread.
I like selling on eBay because the established rules create an atmosphere of trust. I’ve been selling stamps for about 4 years, and, quite honestly, I still consider myself a beginner. We often need information, and, generally, we find answers to our questions. However, sometimes what we’re looking for isn’t available in the databases, and, in reality, the robot is very limited in effectiveness, at least, that was the case for the needs I had.
I recently looked for some information that I couldn’t find. So I tried to contact eBay, which is extremely difficult. In fact, I’m not even sure my request made it to the right place, and, that’s a problem. I’m only an inexperienced seller, but I’d like to know that I can at least count on an acknowledgment of receipt and the certainty of a response, especially if my question is constructive.
We are sometimes asked for our opinion about our experience with eBay. Maybe it should be easier to get in touch with management and less hiding behind the “FAQs” and the robots. Being able to count on the entity I work for, for information can only be beneficial both to the company and to me. If I sell more because I’m helped by being informed, everyone is happy.
I don’t know if people from the company take part in this forum, and, if English is preferable, I’d be ready to translate this text, but I’d really like the certainty that, by God, there is someone looking out for us at eBay to help us.
